Job description

The Integrated Management System (IMS) Coordinator is the system owner and coordinator responsible for establishing, maintaining, monitoring, and continually improving the organization's Integrated Management System, including, 1. Integrated Management System Ownership

  • Act as the system owner for the Integrated Management System (IMS), ensuring alignment and compatibility between:
  • Quality Management System (QMS)
  • Manufacturing Excellence (MAFACT)
  • Environmental Management System (EMS)
  • Occupational Health & Safety Management System (OHSMS)
  • Ensure system documentation, processes, and interactions meet applicable standard and customer-specific requirements.
  1. IATF 16949 & Magna MQS Compliance
  • Maintain full compliance with IATF 16949, Magna MQS, and applicable Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs).
  • Coordinate and manage:
  • Internal audit programs
  • Layered process audits (in coordination with Area Managers)
  • IATF and customer audits
  • Corrective action and systemic root cause activities
  • Support product safety, contingency planning, and risk-based decision making.
  1. Magna MAFACT & Manufacturing Excellence
  • Coordinate Magna MAFACT Audits, including:
  • Layered Process Audits (LPA)
  • Standard work consistency
  • Process confirmation
  • Visual management standards
  • Partner with Operations to ensure manufacturing discipline is embedded into the management system.
  • Monitor adherence to MAFACT expectations and escalate gaps.
  1. Environmental Management Audit Coordinator(ISO 14001)
  • Coordinate and maintain the Environmental Management System audits, including:
  • Identification and evaluation of environmental aspects & impacts
  • Environmental objectives, programs, and performance monitoring
  1. Occupational Health & Safety Audit Coordinator (ISO 45001)
  • Coordinate and maintain the Occupational Health & Safety Management System Audit, including:
  • Hazard identification and risk assessment processes
  • Worker participation and consultation processes
  • Support incident investigation, corrective actions, and system-level prevention.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable OH&S legal and other requirements.
  1. Risk-Based Thinking & Business Continuity

Coordinate risk identification and mitigation across Quality, Environmental, and OH&S domains.

Support contingency planning and business continuity alignment.

Ensure risks and opportunities are evaluated and addressed as part of system planning.

  1. Document Control & Training

Maintain controlled documented information across all management systems.

Ensure timely updates, approvals, distribution, and archival of controlled documents.

Coordinate training needs related to management system requirements and ensured competency tracking.

  1. Management Review & Reporting

Prepare and consolidate management system inputs for Management Review, including:

KPI performance

Audit results

Nonconformities and corrective actions

Risks, opportunities, and compliance status

Track actions to closure and verify effectiveness.

  1. Authority & Escalation

Has authority to escalate systemic nonconformities impacting compliance, safety, environmental performance, or customer satisfaction.

Authorized to initiate corrective actions across functions.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Manufacturing company experience?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Quality, Engineering, Environmental, Safety, or Manufacturing disciplines preferred

Minimum 3-5 years' experience in manufacturing management systems

Strong working knowledge of:

IATF 16949

ISO 14001

ISO 45001 (Preferred)

Internal Auditor certification (IATF and/or ISO preferred)

Strong analytical, organizational, and cross-functional communication skills
