Job description

In this position, you will be a key member of our IT team whose primary responsibility is to provide technology support company-wide via in-person, over the phone and/or electronic methods. Duties include answering questions and resolving problems concerning the use of computer hardware/software, printing, installation, e-mail, and business operating systems.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Essential Duties:

  • Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation to resolve problems.
  • Oversee the daily performance of computer and communication systems.
  • Read technical manuals, confer with users, or conduct computer diagnostics to investigate and resolve problems or to provide technical assistance and support.
  • Set up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cables, operating systems, or appropriate software.
  • Train users in the proper use of hardware or software.
  • Refer major hardware or software problems or defective products to vendors or technicians for service.
  • Enter commands and observe system functioning to verify correct operations and detect errors.
  • Maintain records of daily data communication transactions, problems and remedial actions taken, or installation activities.
  • Install and perform minor repairs to hardware, software, or peripheral equipment, following design or installation specifications.
  • Prepare evaluations of software or hardware, and recommend improvements or upgrades.
  • Confer with staff, users, and management to establish requirements for new systems or modifications.
  • Inspect equipment and read order sheets to prepare for delivery to users.

Requirements

Do you have experience in Equipment troubleshooting?, 1-3 years of experience and training in computer programs preferred

Ability to travel and work independently

Detail oriented

Self-motivated

Excellent communicator

Quick learner

Strong troubleshooting skills

Knowledge of Solar Eclipse ERP is a plus
