Job description
- Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments
- Contribute to large scale planning of strategies
- Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments
- Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures
- Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements
- Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals
- Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff, Employees support our focus on building strong customer relationships balanced with a strong risk mitigating and compliance-driven culture which firmly establishes those disciplines as critical to the success of our customers and company. They are accountable for execution of all applicable risk programs (Credit, Market, Financial Crimes, Operational, Regulatory Compliance), which includes effectively following and adhering to applicable Wells Fargo policies and procedures, appropriately fulfilling risk and compliance obligations, timely and effective escalation and remediation of issues, and making sound risk decisions. There is emphasis on proactive monitoring, governance, risk identification and escalation, as well as making sound risk decisions commensurate with the business unit's risk appetite and all risk and compliance program requirements.
Requirements
- 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education, * 4+ years of application development and implementation experience
- 4+ years Java/J2EE Web Application Development, Spring core, Web Services (REST, SOAP etc.), microservices development.
- 1+ years previous experience working in check processing and/or payments environment
- 2+ years of vendor developed software (COTS)
- ?2+ years of GitHub experience
- 2 + years of multi-threading experience
- 1+ year of Microsoft SQL Server experience
- 1+ year of Oracle experience
- 1+ year of JMS (Java Message Service) experience
- 1+ year of MQ Series Messaging experience
- 3+ years of JavaScript development experience or equivalent
- 2+ years of WebSphere experience
- 2+ years of C#.NET experience
- 2 + years of experience with Eclipse IDE or equivalent
- 2+ years Tomcat Deployment and configurations
- 2+ years Gradle deployment and configuration
- 1+ years Kafka
- 2+ years GenAI experience
- 2+ years of Microservice development experience
- Certification in Google/Azure Cloud, AWS Associate level / Pivotal Cloud Foundry (PCF) developer, Container and Kubernetes experience.
- Experience in Behavioral Driven Development (BDD) & Domain Driven Development (DDD).
- Hands on Experience in using BDD testing frameworks (Cucumber, karate etc)
- Strong in OOAD, Multi-threaded application development, design and implementation of web applications, Design Patterns
- Experience in Consumer Banking or any complex middleware applications
- API - driven development - Experience working with remote data via SOAP, REST and JSON.
- Experience with Applications Performance Tuning, Scaling, Security, Resiliency Best Practices
- Hands on experience in delivering high value projects in Agile (SCRUM) methodology preferably using JIRA tool.
- Previous experience working at a financial institution
Job Expectations:
- Ability to work additional hours as needed
- Ability to support on call beyond normal working hours
- Ability to work in a 24/7 environment, including weekends and holidays (rotational) for L3 support
- This position is not eligible for Visa sponsorship.
- This position offers a hybrid work schedule.

- Ability to travel up to 5% of the time
