Job description
We are seeking a mid-level IT Project Manager to support a strategic NIH technology management and advisory contract focused on improving IT governance, enterprise planning, modernization, project and portfolio performance, scientific solution delivery, and executive decision support. The role manages and coordinates IT projects from initiation through closure with disciplined project management, strong communication, schedule management, risk and issue tracking, and experience working with technical teams and Government stakeholders., * Develop project management plans, schedules, WBS structures, RACI matrices, and stakeholder plans.
- Track scope, schedule, cost, risks, issues, dependencies, and action items.
- Maintain dashboards, integrated schedules, meeting minutes, decision logs, and status reports.
- Facilitate project meetings, Agile ceremonies, standups, retrospectives, and stakeholder working sessions.
- Support change control, impact assessments, lessons learned, and post-implementation reviews.

Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- 5+ years of IT project management experience.
- Experience managing schedules, risks, issues, actions, and deliverables.
- Experience with Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Azure DevOps, SharePoint, Excel, PowerPoint, or similar tools.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and in teams.
- Ability to obtain and maintain Public Trust., * Federal IT project management experience.
- NIH, HHS, or health sciences background.
- PMP, CAPM, CSM, PMI-ACP, SAFe, or ITIL certification.
- Experience with EPLC, PMBOK, Agile, Scrum, Kanban, DevSecOps, or cloud modernization projects.
- Experience supporting dashboards, executive reporting, or PMO operations.
