Job description
- Provide high-level technical support for equipment including IT networks, satellite, radio, and wireless systems.
- Create and implement technical guidelines such as integration plans and test procedures.
- Evaluate, identify, report and advise on system recommendations and design changes.
- Perform preventative and planned system installations and maintenance, including modernization upgrades.
- Test, repair and troubleshoot network equipment problems.
- Open, track, and resolve support tickets via incident management software.
- Log performance and maintenance records on equipment and software builds.
- Identify and recommend logistical needs, material replacement and/or repair requirements to ensure teams are fully mission capable.
- Provide training on operation and maintenance of systems to customers and end-users.
- Inform system life cycle support, system upgrade design, prototyping, testing, integrating, quality control processes, and system delivery.
- Support occasional duty phone operation - a rotating assignment for 24/7 team support to troubleshoot emergent issues.
- Travel availability to support equipment maintenance, upgrades, training, and/or mission support requirements on-site at military installations.
Requirements
Required:
- An active DoD Secret clearance.
- Associate degree in Engineering or Technical discipline with 7 years of relevant work experience OR High School Diploma/Equivalent with 9 years of relevant work experience.
- CompTIA Security Plus certification.
- Experience with Information Technology systems administration.
Desired:
- Ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or Technical discipline with 5+ years of relevant work experience.
- E xperience with computer/communication systems supporting National Guard Bureau.
- In addition to IT background, experience with satellite and radio systems.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $75,200 - 158,100 USD
