Job description

We are seeking a hands-on Onsite Test Manager to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in Selenium-based UI automation, API testing with Postman/RestAssured, Wi-Fi system validation, and CI/CD integration and a proven ability to lead end-to-end test strategy, automation, and execution for connectivity devices supporting satellite broadband systems. Responsibilities:

  • Drive test strategy and execution for product releases.
  • Define and implement automated test solutions using Selenium for UI and Postman/RestAssured for APIs.
  • Develop and maintain automated test scripts and pipelines for functional, regression, and performance testing.
  • Integrate automated tests into CI/CD workflows and optimize pipeline reliability.
  • Set up and manage test environments including Wi-Fi test beds, automation infrastructure, and network emulators.
  • Analyze test results, troubleshoot failures, and drive resolution with cross-functional hardware, software, and network teams.
  • Own test metrics, reporting, and quality dashboards.
  • Ensure alignment with Agile development practices and CI/CD standards.

Requirements

  • Hands-on expertise with Selenium WebDriver and Java or Python, and API testing tools such as Postman or RestAssured. Ability to write and explain code.

  • Proven experience developing and maintaining UI automation frameworks and test suites.

  • Expertise testing RESTful services and APIs including validation, mocking, and automation.

  • Agile methodology experience with participation in sprints, ceremonies, and backlog refinement.

  • Experience automating tests for embedded devices, routers, modems, or IoT products, including Wi-Fi validation.

  • Proficiency with Jenkins, Git, and test result visualization tools or dashboards.

  • Strong communication and team leadership skills.

  • Availability for full-time onsite work in Houston, TX with a minimum of two days per week in office. Preferred Skills:

  • Experience with network emulators, traffic generators, and Wi-Fi certification test tools.

  • Background in performance testing and monitoring for connectivity devices.
