Job description

We are seeking an exceptional Senior Data Scientist to support a mission-critical government program focused on advanced analytics, process modernization, and operational decision support. This role is not traditional intelligence analysis. Instead, it emphasizes business analytics, pattern identification, scalable data processes, and high-impact visualizations that directly support real-world operations.

This is a senior-level, hands-on role for professionals who can operate independently, provide technical leadership, and architect analytics solutions that transition rapidly into production environments., * Design and implement end-to-end data science solutions that process large, complex datasets and transform them into actionable insights

  • Develop reusable, maintainable Python workflows for analytics, automation, and data pipelines
  • Identify patterns, trends, and anomalies within structured and unstructured data to support operational decision-making
  • Create clear, intuitive visualizations and dashboards that integrate seamlessly into daily workflows
  • Serve as a technical subject-matter expert, mentoring team members while remaining hands-on
  • Work directly with stakeholders to translate operational needs into technical requirements and delivered solutions
  • Research, prototype, and deploy advanced methodologies including AI/ML, network analytics, and statistical modeling
  • Contribute to building analytics products aligned with NGA and DNI standards, including ABI-driven workflows

Requirements

Do you have experience in Seaborn?, * Active TS/SCI security clearance (CI Polygraph required post-onboarding)

  • 10+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of education, military service, training, and professional experience
  • Proven experience supporting Intelligence Community or national security missions
  • Analytics pipeline development
  • Automation and data ingestion (including APIs)
  • Production-ready workflows
  • Plotly, Seaborn, Matplotlib, Bokeh
  • Dash, Streamlit, Panel, Tableau, or similar
  • Strong SQL skills and experience working with relational databases
  • Experience working with large-scale structured and unstructured datasets
  • Ability to operate independently, lead technically, and deliver solutions with minimal oversight
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Desired Qualifications

  • AI/ML experience with production model deployment
  • Geospatial analytics experience using:
  • GDAL, ArcPy, GeoPandas
  • ArcGIS Pro, QGIS, ArcGIS Enterprise
  • Experience supporting ABI tradecraft and producing finished intelligence-aligned analytic products
  • Familiarity with GEOINT, SIGINT, OSINT, or multi-INT fusion environments
  • Experience with COTS/GOTS platforms such as Tableau, MATLAB, MapLarge
  • Full-stack development exposure (JavaScript, HTML, .NET, C++, Java)
  • Experience building and querying complex databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, geodatabases)
  • Familiarity with DoD or Intelligence Community data repositories
