Are you ready to take the next step in your cloud security career? Do you enjoy translating security signals into real impact for customers? SecWise, a proud member of the Microsoft Intelligent Security Association (MISA), is looking for a Cloud Security Analyst to strengthen our growing Cloud SOC team in Leuven.
As part of our Managed SOC offering , we deliver end-to-end Security Operations Center services for our customers. In this role, you won't just follow playbooks, you'll actively help improve detections, respond to real-world incidents, and be a trusted security partner for our customers, all powered by Microsoft's security ecosystem.
As a Cloud Security Analyst, you take ownership of security monitoring and incident handling within our Cloud SOC:
- Monitor, analyze, and triage security events across cloud environments
- Investigate and respond to security incidents, coordinating mitigation actions where needed
- Perform root cause analysis and translate findings into concrete improvements
- Optimize and fine-tune detection rules and SOC processes
- Prepare and present clear, action-oriented quarterly security reports to customers
- Collaborate closely with internal teams to improve tooling, documentation, and ways of working
- Participate in a 24/7 on-call rotation (approximately one week every five weeks)
Requirements
You already have hands-on experience in cybersecurity and are ready to grow further in a cloud-first environment:
- A solid working knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Azure security solutions
- A good understanding of cybersecurity fundamentals , cloud architecture, and network security
- Experience with or strong interest in SIEM solutions , ideally Microsoft Sentinel
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to clearly communicate findings to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Professional working proficiency in English and Dutch (French is a plus)
- A proactive, customer-focused mindset and a natural sense of ownership
- Team player mentality with curiosity and ambition to keep learning
