To strengthen our IT infrastructure team, we are looking for a committed and independent personality as a System Engineer, 100%, at our headquarters in Basel, starting immediately or by arrangement. Your responsibilities

• You ensure stable multiplatform operation (Windows / Linux / Kubernetes) in our hybrid cloud environment (Azure / GCP / On-Prem).
• You manage Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs as well as certificate and security services.
• You support our Azure environment (Compute, Storage, Networking, Backup, Identity) and virtualisation environments (VMWare & Hyper-V).
• You actively participate in infrastructure projects such as migrations, modernisations and cloud integrations.
• You analyse and sustainably resolve incidents in 2nd and 3rd level support.
• You automate and optimise processes with PowerShell and Infrastructure as Code (e.g. Terraform).
• You create and maintain technical documentation and standards.
• You work closely with internal teams, external partners and application managers.
• You take part in the rotating technical on-call service and are responsible for interventions in case of disruptions outside office hours. Your profile

• You have a relevant IT qualification and several years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of Windows Server and Microsoft Azure is essential.
• Experience in Linux and Kubernetes is a plus., You enjoy working in a modern SME environment with a highly available, Windows Server-oriented IT landscape and extensive hybrid multi-cloud environment.

• You have completed an IT education (EFZ, HF, FH) or a comparable qualification.
• You bring several years of experience as a System Engineer in Windows and/or Azure environments.
• You have very good knowledge of Windows Server, Active Directory and Microsoft Azure.
• You have Linux knowledge and ideally experience operating Kubernetes.
• You bring good scripting skills, with a strong focus on PowerShell.
• You have basic knowledge of network technologies (TCP/IP, firewall, routing).
• You work analytically, independently and with a high level of quality and responsibility.
• You remain resilient, structured and solution-oriented even in hectic situations.
• You work in a team-oriented manner, communicate clearly and like to take responsibility.
• You communicate fluently in German and English.
