Job description
(m/f/x, full-time, 40 hrs./week) and help ensure the stable, secure, and modern operation of our Microsoft-centric IT landscape while working closely with people across the institution, translating higher-education business needs into reliable, user-focused IT solutions., * Operate & evolve the Microsoft core: Windows Server, Active Directory, GPOs, DNS/DHCP, and internal PKI.
- Secure identity & access: Microsoft Entra ID (RBAC, Conditional Access, MFA), hybrid identity (Entra Connect), PIM, ADFS, and modern SSO standards.
- Enable modern endpoints & collaboration: Intune (MDM/iOS/Android), Exchange Online (incl. hybrid), Microsoft Teams (Teams Phone/Operator Connect), SharePoint Online, OneDrive.
- Ensure reliable email, networking & security: End-to-end mail flow and encryption, public DNS (MX, SPF, DKIM, DMARC), Defender for Endpoint & Office 365, Zero Trust controls.
- Protect data & continuity: Veeam backups for Microsoft 365, disaster recovery planning, restore testing, and participation in security incident response.
- Automate & standardize operations: PowerShell, Power Automate, Microsoft Graph, WSUS patching, and high-quality documentation., You will work on our campus in Berlin-Mitte. Requirements
Do you have experience in iOS?, Do you have a Master's degree?, * Several years of experience as a system administrator in a Microsoft-centric environment
- Strong hands-on mentality combined with a structured and reliable way of working
- Solid experience with Microsoft 365, Windows Server, Active Directory, and Intune
- Good understanding of IT security, identity management, and modern workplace concepts
- Experience with automation is highly valued
- Very good English skills; German skills are an advantage
- Team-oriented mindset, strong service orientation, and willingness to learn
- Clear communication with non-technical stakeholders and cross-departmental collaboration
