Job description

  • Administration and further development of Linux-based infrastructure (focus on Red Hat)
  • Design, implementation, and optimisation of automation solutions (Ansible)
  • 1st and 2nd level support for Linux systems and infrastructure environments
  • End-to-end responsibility across operations and project delivery
  • Consulting development and project teams on tooling, infrastructure, and architecture
  • Acting as a bridge between IT, development, and business units
  • Supporting secure and classified environments
  • Contributing to future infrastructure projects (e.g. private cloud, OpenStack)
  • Supporting modern development environments, including AI/LLM use cases

Requirements

  • 10+ years of experience in DevOps, Linux infrastructure, or system engineering
  • Strong expertise in Red Hat Linux administration
  • Proven experience with automation tools (Ansible)
  • Solid understanding of secure and high-compliance environments
  • Strong troubleshooting skills and hands-on mindset
  • Experience working across both operations and project delivery
  • German (min. C1) and good English skills

Nice to have:

  • Experience with OpenStack and/or Kubernetes
  • Exposure to VMware or migration projects
  • Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or sovereign cloud providers)
  • Background in software development
  • Knowledge of middleware technologies
  • Familiarity with Git, SVN, or development tooling
