Job description
- Support for printed circuit board prototypes, for equipment under development and for testing.
- Cable assembly for prototypes and testing.
- Manufacturing and assembly of printed circuit boards, using both traditional and SMD components.
- Cable assembly (coaxial, data, power, fiber optic) for any project within GMV†s business units.
- Designing, manufacturing, and assembling mechanical components for equipment. Assembling racks and subracks, structuring the necessary cabling, both copper and fiber.
- Supporting equipment installations at client sites, either performing the work directly according to project guidelines or assisting in the management and supervision of subcontracted installers.
- Performing maintenance on equipment installed in projects/at client sites, including both preventive and corrective maintenance.
- Purchasing management. Oversight of project materials.
- Management of packaging to protect materials/equipment during shipments.
Requirements
For this position, we are looking for Hardware Technicians (Installations, repairs, laboratories...) with knowledge of: TH and SMD electronic component soldering. Cable fabrication. Assembly and wiring of electronic equipment. Assembly of mechanical parts. Use of tools for small-scale machining. Hardware testing and repairs. Basic electrical and equipment installations.
