System & Network Support Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Network Engineer to join our dynamic IT team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our organisation's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance, security, and scalability. The position is paid and suitable for individuals passionate about network architecture and IT solutions., * Design, deploy, and manage network solutions across company data centres and client locations/cloud.

• configure and support DELL, Cisco, Ubiquiti enterprise network hardware.
• Maintain and optimise virtualised environments using HyperV and other virtualization tools.
• Configure and support operating systems such as Linux, and Windows to ensure seamless integration within the network infrastructure.
• Implement secure Virtual Private Networks (VPNs) and firewall configurations to protect organisational data.
• Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues related to Citrix VDA/DaaS environments.
• Provide 1-3rd Line IT support to our clients for Citrix products.
• Conduct regular security assessments and implement necessary updates or patches to safeguard the network environment.
• Document network configurations, procedures, and policies in accordance with organisational standards.

Do you have experience in Network support?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Proven experience in IT networking with a strong understanding of operating systems such as Windows, Linux, and Dell networking OS.

• Hands-on knowledge of cloud services including AWS and Azure.
• Experience with HyperV/AzureStackHCI/VMware virtualisation technology and managing virtualised environments.
• Familiarity with VPN setup, firewall configuration, APIs integration, SQL databases
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to analyse complex technical issues efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment.
