Wintel & VDI engineer

Required: Wintel & VDI engineer Location: Full time onsite in Portsmouth Duration: 6 months + IR35 Status: Inside IR35 Clearance : SC Minimum, opportunity for DV Sponsor.

Required :

• design, deploy, and maintain Windows-based server infrastructure, including Active Directory.
• Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI) Management: Oversee the configuration, deployment, and management of VDI solutions, such as VMware Horizon or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, to provide efficient and secure desktop virtualization for end-users.
• Hands-on experience with VDI solutions such as VMware Horizon, Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, or Microsoft Remote Desktop Services.
• Strong knowledge of virtualization technologies (eg, VMware vSphere, Microsoft Hyper-V).
• Proficiency in Scripting languages (eg, PowerShell, Python) for automation and task automation.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (eg, Azure, AWS) and hybrid cloud environments is a plus.
