Job description

STAFFXPERT LLC is seeking a Oracle Fusion ERP Consultant on behalf of our client in Richmond, VA. This role is ideal for a highly skilled professional with deep expertise in Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP, capable of designing, developing, and supporting enterprise-grade ERP solutions in a secure and regulated cloud environment. The consultant will play a critical role in system optimization, integrations, reporting, and ensuring compliance with governance standards. Key Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, configure, and maintain Oracle Fusion ERP modules, including:

  • Human Capital Management (HCM)

  • Financials (GL, AP, AR)

  • Procurement (Purchasing, Sourcing, Supplier Portal)

  • Project Financial Management (PPM)

  • Enterprise Performance Management (EPM)

  • Manage ERP environments within Oracle Government Cloud:

  • Ensure data governance and security compliance

  • Monitor system performance, availability, and security logs

  • Troubleshoot production issues and perform root cause analysis

  • Optimize system performance and user experience

  • Oversee Oracle quarterly/monthly updates and patches:

  • Coordinate environment refreshes and deployments

  • Review release notes and conduct impact analysis

  • Support SIT/UAT testing cycles

  • Design and maintain integrations using:

  • REST/SOAP APIs

  • Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • File-Based Data Import/Export (FBDI)

  • Develop reporting and analytics solutions using:

  • BI Publisher (BIP)

  • OTBI

  • Fast Formulas

  • Dashboards, reports, and data extracts

  • Collaborate with stakeholders for support, requirements gathering, and solution delivery

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience with Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP

  • Strong understanding of ERP architecture and data models

  • Hands-on experience with:

  • Oracle Fusion Financials, Procurement, and/or HCM

  • BI Publisher and OTBI

  • FBDI and HDL data loads

  • Oracle security model (roles, privileges, data access)

  • Experience with REST/SOAP integrations and SQL

  • Proficiency in Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

  • Programming experience in at least one language

  • Basic knowledge of Linux and shell scripting

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a regulated environment

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Preferred Qualifications

  • 5+ years of Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP experience
  • Experience with IAM and SSO integrations
  • Exposure to Oracle Visual Builder, APEX, and SmartView
  • Familiarity with test automation tools (e.g., Opkey)
  • Experience with JIRA and DevOps processes
  • Oracle Cloud certifications (OCI, Integration, etc.)
  • Experience in government or highly regulated environments
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies
