Lead Software Development Engineer

Design, develop, and maintain automated test frameworks to validate data pipelines and large scale data processing systems. Develop and execute automated tests to ensure accuracy, completeness and integrity of data across ETL processes and data platforms. Define and lead test strategies, plans, and automation approaches aligned with agile development methodologies. Performs data quality validation, like schema checks, business rule verification, and data consistency testing. Cross Team collaborations with software engineers, architects, and DevOps teams to integrate automates testing into CI/CD pipelines. Analyze defects, perform root cause analysis and track quality metrics to ensure deliverables adhere to reliability and performance standards. Review requirements, user stories and technical documentation to ensure test coverage and early defect identification. Lead and coordinate testing activities across onshore and offshore teams, ensuring timely delivery and quality outcomes. Participate in stakeholder discussions to understand business requirements and translate them into effective testing solutions. Identify risks, recommend mitigation strategies and drive continuous improvements in testing and quality processes.

Master s Degree or foreign academic equivalent in Computer Science, Computer Applications, Applied Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems, Information Science or related field. Requires 2 years of experience in the job offered or Sr. Engineer-Software, Analyst & Designer, Technical Lead-Software, Lead QA Automation Engineer, QA Lead / Test Lead or related field.
