We are seeking an experienced and motivated IT Technical Support Specialist to support a brand-new, high-profile warehouse operation in Moreno Valley, California. This is a start-up operation that will run 24/7, supporting critical warehouse technology, systems, equipment, and users across multiple shifts.
As part of the launch team, you will play a key role in building and supporting the site's IT infrastructure and ensuring operations stay connected, productive, and running smoothly around the clock.

What You'll Do
- Provide onsite technical support for warehouse operations and office teams
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, network, printer, RF scanner, and system issues
- Support warehouse technology including handheld devices, workstations, label printers, WiFi connectivity, and operational systems
- Assist with setup, installation, and maintenance of IT equipment and infrastructure
- Respond to IT support requests in a timely and professional manner
- Support users across multiple shifts in a 24/7 operational environment
- Coordinate with corporate IT teams and third-party vendors as needed
- Help maintain system uptime and operational continuity
- Document issues, resolutions, and support activities
- Assist with onboarding, user setup, permissions, and equipment deployment, How you will contribute
- Work in a JIT environment managing a deck of parts and suppliers to ensure material availability for export to end Customer can be completed on time.
- Responsible for escalating the daily part risk status and issues to the FG Supervisor at all times. Ensure strict adherence to escalation procedure to include Hot Parts List.
- Support emergency parts process to cover export requirements on problem parts. Support and organize Premium Freight requirements with Customer preferred provider, adopting root cause analysis and responsibility.
- Investigate and respond to any issue flagged up by stores operatives, to include stock losses, quality issues and supplier short shipments.
- Generate and maintain standards and procedures for interfacing with key areas, building strong relationships with the Customer, Part Suppliers, Purchasing, Goods Receiving, Order Control and Inbound Freight.
- Work hand in hand with the customer at their location to develop flowcharts, spreadsheets and all reporting documentation as needed by the customer.
- Highlight and manage supplier in distress in line with current Customer process.
- Maintain system accuracy and support P.I. process.
- Maintain Parts Inventory floats to be in line with company operational space and cost.
- Prepare & maintain accurate KPI's supporting departmental objectives.
- Manage problem suppliers using the SPEEDY process and involving Customer contract and Purchasing where required.
- Coordinate engineering changes / model year parts introduction's on new and existing vehicle line's minimizing obsolescence costs.
- To respond to any phone calls, emails or faxes from suppliers or work colleagues during the course of working day.

Requirements

- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Experience supporting PCs, printers, scanners, mobile devices, and network connectivity
- Familiarity with Windows operating systems, Microsoft Office, and basic networking concepts
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Flexibility to support multiple shifts, weekends, or off-hours as needed
- Ability to work onsite in Moreno Valley, CA
Preferred Qualifications
- Associate or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred
- Experience supporting warehouse management systems (WMS) or operational technology environments
- Experience in start-up or high-growth operations is a plus
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, or similar are a plus, * Associates Degree required, Bachelor's preferred.
- Can demonstrate the ability to make decisions quickly, sometimes in demanding situations.
- Effective communication skills at all levels internally and externally.
- Good understanding of mathematical based analytical, computer literate in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. (Access would be an advantage)
- Ability to work in fast paced environment and to tight deadlines.
- Experience of CMMS3 and / or SAP within supply chain functions preferable.
- Material flow analysis and inventory management skills.
- Demonstrate flexibility / commitment and support in all situations including out-of-hours when necessary.
- Knowledge of working with ISO quality standards, and core problem solving and root cause analysis skills.
