Job description

  • The Systems Specialist is responsible for all types of computer hardware including but not limited to: PCs, laptops, tablets, printers, scanners, and replacement and repair of the same. Additional responsibilities include, application installation, support troubleshooting, Active Directory usage, password resets and managing work tickets. Works closely with vendors and outside resources to ensure the organization's goals are met. The Systems Specialist acts as a primary contact and provides troubleshooting and support to internal hospital and healthcare centers as well as external customers. Works with customers to answer inquiries, resolve problems, and coordinates next level of support if required in an effort to provide timely resolutions to customers' questions or problems. This includes providing status updates to customers and following up to ensure resolution is satisfactory.

Requirements

  • Professional/Educational o High school diploma or equivalent required. o One to three years IT experience. o Certification in one of the following preferred: A+ or Network + within first year of employment.

  • Personal o Effective communication skills, oral and written, including customer service skills, phone skills, and report writing. o Ability to analyze problems and make resolution recommendations. o Possess superior human relation skills. o Strong troubleshooting skills required. o Excellent customer service. o Able to manage small project teams. o Ability to lead a workgroup including training, assigning and monitoring work. o Ability to effectively manage workload including planning, organizing, prioritizing, meeting deadlines, and paying attention to detail. o Ability to work effectively in a team environment.

Actual pay will be determined by qualifications, experience, and internal equity.
