Job description

As a Remote Consultant with the Professional Services Team (USA), you will play a key role in the implementation, configuration, and optimization of LexisNexis® Firco Continuity solutions for enterprise clients operating in highly regulated industries. You will support customers throughout the entire deployment lifecycle-from solution design and architecture through deployment, advanced troubleshooting, and security and compliance integration.

This role combines hands-on technical implementation with client-facing consulting responsibilities. The ideal candidate has strong technical foundations in cloud-native systems and integration technologies, paired with an interest in financial crime compliance and secure enterprise environments., * Deploy, configure, and optimize Firco Continuity cloud-native solutions using Kubernetes, Helm, CI/CD pipelines, and integrations with RDBMS platforms, IBM MQ, and web servers.

  • Configure and manage Oracle and SQL Server databases, including schema upgrades, plugin tables, secure authentication (Kerberos), and advanced features such as connection pooling and isolation.
  • Implement and troubleshoot secure messaging and event-driven architectures using IBM MQ, Kafka, and DAPR, including distributed transactions and state management.
  • Design and implement security controls using SSL/TLS, mTLS, OAuth2, SAML, LDAP, and certificate-based authentication; manage roles and access via APIs and identity providers.
  • Monitor system health through logs, alerts, and health checks; troubleshoot JVM, DAPR, containerized environments, and cloud-native components.
  • Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to clients while ensuring alignment with evolving compliance, security, and industry standards.

Requirements

  • Excellent experience working in Unix (Linux Red Hat, AIX, Solaris) and Windows Server environments, with hands-on knowledge of Kubernetes, Docker, multi-node clusters, and persistent storage.
  • Proficiency with relational databases and SQL, including Oracle, DB2, and Microsoft SQL Server; experienced in schema design, migration, plugin table management, and secure authentication methods such as Kerberos and encrypted credentials.
  • Experience with messaging and integration technologies including IBM MQ, Kafka, Azure Service Bus, Google Pub/Sub, and DAPR sidecar integration.
  • Familiarity with application servers and web platforms such as WebSphere, WebLogic, and Apache Tomcat, including SSL/TLS and mTLS configuration.
  • Working knowledge of cloud-native architectures, Helm, CI/CD processes, cloud CLI tools (Azure CLI, AWS CLI, GCP CLI), and secrets management solutions (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, RBAC).
  • Proven troubleshooting skills across operating systems, networking, applications, databases, and containerized environments, with experience supporting DAPR, JVM-based systems, and log management tools.
  • Exposure to or understanding of compliance standards and financial crime frameworks such as SWIFT, SEPA, ISO20022, AML, KYC, and CFT is preferred.
