Job description

Seeking a Manager of Software Engineering for great direct hire opportunity in financial industry. Will manage a team of software engineers in developing financial software, mainly in .NET, Java and Cloud environments. This is a technical hands on management role so need to have come from a software development background and understand full-lifecycle development in Agile and Waterfall environments. Will manage projects, execution and delivery of applications.

Requirements

  • 10+ years overall IT
  • 5 years in a management capacity
  • Experience in .NET (C#.NET) or JAVA development
  • Strong database experience (DB2, SQL, Oracle, Sybase, etc.)
  • Bachelor's degree
