This role, you will contribute to the development of secure, highly transactional, cloud-based microservices and solutions, with a strong focus on tokenization and encryption within the payments and fintech industry., * Design, develop, and maintain backend services using .NET and .NET Core, with a focus on high-volume payment platforms
• Build and optimize cloud-based microservices in AWS, supporting scalability, reliability, and security
• Collaborate with engineering leads and team members to design and implement solutions for complex technical problems, including clearly explaining solution approaches and pseudocode
• Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve issues across the software development lifecycle using Agile methodologies
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, processes, and documentation
• Participate in code reviews and collaborate with peers to deliver maintainable, well-tested software

• 3-5+ years of professional software engineering experience, including 2+ years working with fintech or payment platforms
• Experience developing applications using .NET and .NET Core
• Experience with cloud development, particularly AWS and related databases
• Strong backend development experience in high-transaction environments

The base range for this contract position is $45.00 -$55.00 per hour, depending on experience. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hires of this position across all U.S. locations. Individual pay is determined by work location and additional job-related factors.
