Job description
- Design, develop, and maintain full-stack C#/.NET applications, including backend SQL, APIs, and UI Blazor.
- Refactor existing monolithic codebases into micro-service architectures using domain-driven design principles.
- Derive technical scope from customer-driven requirements.
- Create, configure, and manage CI/CD pipelines that automate build, test, containerization, and deployment.
- Containerize services with Docker and deploy them to Kubernetes clusters maintaining Helm charts and handling scaling, upgrades, and troubleshooting.
- Write reusable automation scripts and templates in YAML, PowerShell, Bash, and JSON to support continuous integration and release management.
- Build full-stack applications, including UI frameworks (React, Angular, Blazor) and RESTful or gRPC services.
- Script in PowerShell, Bash, and JSON/YAML; will need basic familiarity with IaC tools such as Terraform or Ansible.
- Solid understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, VLANs, firewalls, cloud networking) to diagnose connectivity issues.
- Experience in PostgreSQL or MSSQL Server, including query optimization, CTEs, and performance tuning for high-volume transactional systems.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and at least 5years' relevant experience; or STEM Master's degree with 3 years' relevant experience; or a STEM PHD with 1 years of relevant experience.
- Experience developing software with C#/.NET Core; experience in at least one additional language (C/C++, Python, Java) is a plus.
- Proficiency with Docker and Kubernetes, including writing Helm charts.
- Background in hardware-software integration or rapid prototyping projects.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs., * Bachelor's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited university and at least 8 years' relevant experience; or STEM Master's degree with 6 years' relevant experience; or a STEM PHD with 4 years' relevant experience.

- Experience creating and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using YAML-based definitions and automation tools (GitLab CI, Azure Pipelines, GitHub Actions).
- Participated in Agile ceremonies, mentored junior developers, and promoted best-practice coding and DevOps standards.
- Background in hardware-software integration or rapid prototyping projects.
- Must have an active DoD Secret or higher (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation).
- Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance within a reasonable amount of time as determined by business needs., * Demonstrated success refactoring monolithic applications into micro-service architectures.
- DoD 8570/8140 IAT Level II or higher (ex. Security+ w/CE).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and leading sprint planning or retrospectives.
- Familiarity with development tooling such as Git, CMake, Visual Studio, and Visual Studio Code.
- Experience with performance profiling, automated testing frameworks, and security scanning tools.

Primary Level Salary Range: $98,400.00 - $147,600.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $122,800.00 - $184,200.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.
