Job description
- In this role, you will provide ManageExpress Virtual Office (MEVO) engineering efforts.
- Conduct MEVO test with several nodes in support of SSEP troubleshooting and training efforts.
- Continued testing for Internet Service Provider (ISP), Time Division Multiple Access (TDMA), and Frequency Division Multiple Access (FDMA) as transport connection. options to validate network changes required to support transport solutions.
- Perform initial and operational testing on new SDN program antenna and Base Band systems as required
- Assists with Performing Network Optimization testing with SOCOM and Riverbed vendors by ensuring equipment is properly configured according to issued configuration files from SOCOM
- Provide SDN Engineering assistance during Tactical Integration events ensuring all network configuration files for all equipment is correct
- Provide recommendations on new equipment and evolving technologies as requested by the lead NIWC engineer.
- Provide day-to-day operational control of all SDN kits on air at the C4TIP, providing support for test events or other missions as requested.
Requirements
- TS/SCI Clearance
- Must meet DoD 8570 IAT level 2 certification requirements with one of the following certifications: Security+ CE, CySA+, GSEC, SSCP and/or others as required by client.
- Extensive hands-on experience with CISCO networking equipment, including routers and switches running IOS, as well as CISCO security appliances.
- Proven experience with Riverbed optimization software and hardware appliances, including performance tuning and troubleshooting.
- Strong understanding of Software-Defined WAN (SD-WAN) concepts and modern network architectures.
- Working knowledge of ManageExpress Virtual Office (MEVO) principles and associated technologies.
- Minimum 15 years of experience supporting SDN SATCOM terminals or comparable communication systems.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex, integrated systems issues involving sensor platforms, Radio over IP (RoIP), and baseband systems.
- Experience integrating and maintaining multi-domain communication systems across tactical and enterprise environments.
- Ability to analyze network performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement effective optimization solutions.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently in dynamic and mission-critical environments.

The proposed salary range for this position is: $85,800 - $180,200
