AWS Cloud Engineer

Robert Half has an exciting new opening for an AWS Cloud Engineer with a reputable client in Bonita Springs, FL., * Senior-level, hands-on Cloud Engineering role within an Infrastructure Engineering team

• Primarily focused on AWS, CI/CD, and DevOps-style execution
• Will work closely with application teams to troubleshoot issues, deliver enhancements, and improve delivery pipelines
• No formal DevOps team today - this role will help build and mature CI/CD capabilities, * Build, support, and enhance CI/CD pipelines (GitHub-based)
• Troubleshoot cloud and pipeline issues aligned to project and request-based work
• Partner directly with application teams to support deployments and cloud operations
• Contribute to DevOps practices even without a formal DevOps function
• Perform hands-on AWS infrastructure engineering, including serverless workloads
• Support ongoing infrastructure modernization initiatives

Ideal Profile

• Senior-level Cloud Engineer comfortable in execution-heavy, hands-on work
• Strong AWS background with real-world CI/CD pipeline experience
• Infrastructure as code: experience in CloudFormation (or Terraform)
• Able to operate independently in an environment without a formal DevOps team
• Comfortable balancing troubleshooting, project work, and intake-based requests

This is an onsite, 6-month contract (with potential to extend further). Compensation ranging $60-70/hour depending on experience.
