Job description
A leading company in the autonomous mobility space is seeking an Automotive / Fleet Operations Business Intelligence Engineer to help drive data-informed operational decision-making. In this role, you will partner closely with Fleet Operations teams to build data infrastructure, dashboards, and analytical frameworks that support forecasting, scheduling, workforce planning, and performance tracking across multiple locations. You'll transform evolving business questions into scalable data solutions and actionable insights. What You'll Do
- Build and maintain data pipelines and jobs to support forecasting, scheduling integrations, and operational reporting
- Write SQL queries and use Python (or similar) to extract, clean, and analyze large datasets
- Develop dashboards and reporting tools (e.g., Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks) for business reviews and performance tracking
- Create self-serve reporting solutions to improve visibility into key operational metrics
- Analyze fleet performance data to identify trends, risks, and optimization opportunities
- Measure forecasting accuracy and improve visibility into planning effectiveness
- Conduct ad hoc analyses to support business decisions and evaluate operational changes
- Translate ambiguous business questions into structured analysis, metrics, and data models

Requirements
- 3 5 years of experience in Data Analytics, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, or similar
- Strong proficiency in SQL (data querying, transformation, and modeling)
- Experience with Python, R, or similar scripting languages for data analysis
- Hands-on experience building data pipelines, jobs, and reporting workflows
- Experience developing dashboards using Looker, Tableau, Power BI, Databricks, or similar tools
- Ability to communicate technical insights clearly to non-technical stakeholders
- Experience working cross-functionally with business, operations, and technical teams
Nice to Have
- Experience in workforce planning, capacity planning, or scheduling analytics
- Background in forecasting and measuring forecast performance
- Exposure to machine learning or predictive analytics
- Experience supporting weekly business reviews or operational reporting
- Familiarity with building semantic layers or scalable data models, You are a hands-on data professional who has built reporting systems-not just dashboards. You're comfortable working with ambiguous business problems, setting up repeatable data processes, and delivering insights that influence operational decisions. Experience in operations-heavy environments such as logistics, transportation, marketplace platforms, or workforce analytics is highly preferred., * Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Science, Analytics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience)
