Job description

EY's Service Delivery Center continues to expand its ServiceNow capabilities to meet growing demand across the firm and our clients. As a Senior ServiceNow Developer, you'll play a key role in shaping platform architecture, leading complex implementations, and influencing how ServiceNow is used at scale. You'll work alongside technologists and consulting teams to deliver secure, high-quality solutions while mentoring others and setting development standards., You'll spend your time designing, building, and optimizing ServiceNow solutions that have real enterprise impact, including:

  • Designing and delivering ServiceNow solutions across multiple modules, such as IT Service Management, IT Operations Management, Asset Management, Strategic Portfolio Management, Integrated Risk Management, Security Operations, HR Service Delivery, and Customer Service Management
  • Developing custom applications, workflows, business rules, client scripts, and integrations using JavaScript and Glide
  • Owning platform architecture decisions to ensure scalability, performance, security, and alignment with ServiceNow best practices
  • Designing and implementing integrations between ServiceNow and third-party enterprise systems using REST and SOAP
  • Partnering with business and technology stakeholders to translate requirements into effective technical solutions
  • Acting as a ServiceNow subject matter expert by supporting complex issues, mentoring team members, and promoting platform standards

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Three or more years of hands-on ServiceNow development experience in large or complex enterprise environments
  • Strong expertise in ServiceNow platform architecture and core development components, including business rules, client scripts, workflows, and UI policies
  • Proven experience integrating ServiceNow with external systems using REST and SOAP APIs
  • Experience working in Agile or Scrum delivery environments
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Ideally, you'll also have

  • Experience delivering ServiceNow solutions aligned to industry-specific requirements
  • Exposure to advanced ServiceNow modules such as ITOM, SPM, IRM, or Security Operations
  • Experience supporting AI-enabled solutions or integrations, such as conversational or automation capabilities

ServiceNow certifications

The following certifications are required or strongly preferred for this role

Required

  • ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)
  • ServiceNow Certified Application Developer (CAD)

Strongly preferred

  • ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (CIS) in one or more modules (for example, ITSM, ITOM, SPM, or IRM)

Nice to have

  • Additional ServiceNow mainline or advanced certifications

  • We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $67,000 to $136,800. The base salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $80,300 to $155,300. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options.
  • Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year.
