Job Details

Responsibilities:

Your primary role as a Special System Designer/Estimator will include:

  1. Designing and developing low voltage systems according to industry standards, codes, and best practices.
  2. Preparing and presenting detailed cost estimates and proposals for system designs.
  3. Collaborating with project managers, engineers, and other team members to ensure the successful completion of projects.
  4. Using software design tools such as Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and others to create and modify system designs.
  5. Keeping up-to-date with the latest industry trends, technologies, and best practices to continually improve system designs.
  6. Conducting system performance analyses and making recommendations for improvements.
  7. Providing technical support and guidance to team members and clients.

Requirements

The ideal candidate for the Special System Designer/Estimator position should have:

  1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in system design and estimation.
  2. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Bluebeam, AutoCAD, and other relevant software design tools.
  3. In-depth knowledge of industry standards, codes, and best practices for low voltage systems.
  4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  5. Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex system designs to non-technical stakeholders.
  6. A commitment to maintaining high standards of quality and professionalism in all aspects of work.
  7. Proven ability to work collaboratively in a team environment, as well as independently with minimal supervision.
