Requirements

Ability to obtain INTERIM U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date, * Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience.

  • Experience with one or more of the following: missiles, radar systems, requirements, software, hardware, or systems engineering.

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Experience in missile software/hardware design, system-level architecture, and full product development lifecycle
  • Strong background in flight mission execution (pre-mission analysis, test planning) and software-firmware interaction
  • Experience with radar systems (PATRIOT, LTAMDS, AN/TPY-2, etc.), signal processing, and system control
  • Skilled in large-scale data analysis, root-cause analysis, and interfacing with external customers; excellent verbal and written communication
  • Familiar with MATLAB, DOORS, and MS Office

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this role is 107,500 USD - 204,500 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.

Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.

This is a full-time onsite position based in Tewksbury, MA. What You will Do * Concept and requirements development, including decomposition and flow-down * Concept of Operations (CONOPS) development and design * Algorithm optimization, research and development; trade studies to bring new, advanced features to fielded system * Functional analysis of real world and test data * Multi-disciplinary development efforts across the kill-chain for an Air and Missile Defense System * Collaborate with customer to bring new capabilities to the warfighter
