Software Engineer

As a Subscription Revenue Platform Software Engineer, you will modernize the global infrastructure powering Ford's subscription services. You will design scalable solutions for billing, payment orchestration, and financial reporting using Zuora and GCP microservices. This role involves developing backend logic, maintaining internal UIs, and ensuring seamless revenue recognition-bridging software engineering and FinTech to drive Ford's evolution into a software-led services company. • Software Development: Design, develop, and maintain robust software solutions for billing, payment orchestration, and financial reporting to enable critical revenue recognition.
• Full-Stack Engineering: Apply full-stack skills to enhance and evolve the platform, ensuring high performance and seamless functionality across all components.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with product managers, business stakeholders, and engineering teams to translate complex business needs into scalable technical solutions.
• Technical Problem Solving: Proactively identify and resolve challenging technical issues to improve the reliability, efficiency, and future-readiness of the platform

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or equivalent relevant experience.

• Cloud Experience: Proven experience developing and maintaining applications in cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).

• Full-Stack Development: Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, Python), front-end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular), and relational or NoSQL databases.

• Architecture & Design: Familiarity with microservices architecture, API design, and event-driven systems.

• DevOps & CI/CD: Experience implementing continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines and DevOps best practices.

• Technical Leadership: A track record of contributing to technical design discussions and driving software development best practices.

• Agile Methodology: Experience working in an agile development environment.

This position is a range of salary grades 7-8 and ranges from $99,600 - $192,900 Final determination of salary grade will be based on candidate's skills and experience, and base salary will be set within the applicable range according to job scope, responsibility and competitive market value.
