Job description

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking a detail-oriented Payroll Assistant to support end-to-end payroll operations. The ideal candidate will have hands-on payroll processing experience, strong analytical skills, and the ability to handle sensitive employee data with accuracy and confidentiality., * Process payroll for hourly and salaried employees accurately and on schedule

  • Calculate wages, overtime, bonuses, and deductions (taxes, benefits, garnishments, 401k, etc.)
  • Maintain and update employee payroll records in HRIS/payroll systems
  • Manage time and attendance data
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll regulations
  • Perform payroll reconciliations and support audit activities
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries
  • Assist with year-end payroll processes, including W-2 preparation
  • Support accounting and finance teams with payroll reporting and analysis

Requirements

Do you have a valid Fundamental Payroll Certification certification?, Do you have experience in Microsoft Outlook?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Minimum 2+ years of payroll processing experience

  • Strong working knowledge of payroll systems (Oracle Cloud, PeopleSoft, ADP, or similar)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
  • Ability to handle confidential information responsibly
  • Strong communication skills, * FPC or CPP certification preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, or related field (preferred)
  • Experience with garnishments, tax processing, and year-end payroll activities
