Requirements
- Minimum of 2-5 years of experience
- Hands-on experience with Nimble storage and Cohesity platforms (deployment, configuration, and ongoing support)
- Solid understanding of networking concepts related to storage infrastructure (e.g., VLANs, routing, iSCSI, and overall data center connectivity)
- Ability to troubleshoot performance and connectivity issues across storage and network layers
- Experience working in enterprise or data center environments
Storage Systems: Experience with SAN (Storage Area Networks), NAS (Network Attached Storage), and DAS (Direct Attached Storage). Storage Protocols: Knowledge of Fiber Channel (FC), iSCSI, NFS, CIFS/SMB, and Object Storage (S3). Storage Hardware & Vendors: Hands-on experience with technologies from vendors like NetApp, Dell EMC, Cohesity, HPE, etc. Cloud Storage: Understanding of AWS S3, Azure Blob Storage, Google Cloud Storage, and hybrid cloud storage integration. * A plus* Storage Virtualization: Experience with VMware vSAN, IBM SVC, or other virtualization solutions. A MUST Storage Performance Tuning: Understanding of RAID levels, SSD/HDD performance differences, IOPS, latency, and throughput optimization. Capacity Planning & Monitoring: Familiarity with tools like Splunk, or vendor-specific monitoring solutions. Data Security: Knowledge of encryption (at rest/in transit), access control, and storage security best practices. Regulatory Compliance: Familiarity with HIPAA, GDPR, PCI-DSS, and other data protection standards. Troubleshooting: Ability to diagnose storage performance issues and system failures. Collaboration: Experience working with DevOps, Networking, and Security teams to design and implement storage solutions. Project Management: Participation in storage migrations, upgrades, or disaster recovery planning
