Job description

Define API gateway and cloud integration architecture for a multi-platform modernization involving Salesforce, SAP, MDM, PIM, DMS, IAM, analytics and third-party feeds. The architect owns API standards, security, observability, versioning and reusable integration patterns., Design API gateway patterns, API lifecycle standards, authentication, authorization, throttling and monitoring. Define integration patterns across Salesforce, SAP ECC/S/4, MDM, PIM, DMS, Data Cloud and external feeds. Create API specifications, canonical data contracts, error handling and retry strategies. Partner with security to align OAuth/OIDC, secrets, certificates and access controls. Guide implementation teams using Apigee, AWS/Google Cloud Platform services, MuleSoft or equivalent integration platforms. Review non-functional requirements for performance, reliability, scalability and supportability.

Requirements

8+ years integration architecture experience. Hands-on API gateway experience with Apigee, AWS API Gateway, Google Cloud Platform API Gateway, MuleSoft or equivalent. Strong REST/SOAP/event-driven integration, security and cloud architecture knowledge. Experience integrating SaaS platforms such as Salesforce with ERP or master data systems.

Skills & Tools: Apigee, AWS Solutions Architect, Google Cloud Architect, MuleSoft Integration Architect, TOGAF, Salesforce Integration experience.
