Job description
Insight Global is seeking an Jr.-level Cyber Systems Administrator to provide on-site operational support within a mission critical enterprise environment supporting complex, distributed operations. This role focuses on the day-to-day health, stability, and performance of Windows based infrastructure, virtualized systems, and endpoint environments. The ideal candidate has experience working in secure or classified settings, supporting enterprise systems at scale, and collaborating with engineering, security, and operations teams to ensure systems remain available, compliant, and resilient. This position requires strong troubleshooting skills, comfort operating in a fast-paced environment, and a willingness to support on site operations as part of a collaborative technical team. Candidates who enjoy solving complex problems and working in mission driven environments will thrive in this role., Monitor system health and perform routine checks across critical network infrastructure and systems

Provide daily operations support, including infrastructure maintenance, patching, and ticket resolution

Respond to incidents and troubleshoot system, network, and endpoint issues, document findings and resolutions

Collaborate with Integrated Product Teams (IPTs) to prioritize and plan technical support activities

Support security teams during system assessments and compliance activities

Work with program and technical leadership to implement process improvements and system optimizations
Requirements
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field (e.g., Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Math, Physics, Modeling & Simulation, Aerospace)

2+ years of relevant systems experience

Strong experience administering Windows Server and Windows Desktop environments
o Windows Server 2016-2025
o Windows 11
o Active Directory, DNS, Group Policy

Experience with endpoint management and patching tools (MECM / WSUS)

Experience with virtualized environments (VMware vSphere / ESXi)

PowerShell Scripting experience

Ability to clearly document technical concepts and solutions

Experience with monitoring tools and log analysis

Ability to troubleshoot and support mission critical systems
-
Security+ (or equivalent)

Ability to work on-site 5 days per week and travel up to 10% of the time

Active DoD Secret Clearence (ability to obtain SCI/SAP) - Prior military experience supporting cyber, ISR, or mission systems

Experience supporting secure, large scale enterprise environments

Certificate Services / PKI experience (ADCS, SSL/TLS, certificate lifecycle management)

Configuration management and automation experience with Ansible

Experience administering Microsoft Exchange (on prem or hybrid)

Bash Scripting experience

Active TS Clearence or Higher
Benefits & conditions
$30hr to $40hr. Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education. Benefit packages for this role will start on the 1st day of employment and include medical, dental, and vision insurance, as well as HSA, FSA, and DCFSA account options, and 401k retirement account access with employer matching. Employees in this role are also entitled to paid sick leave and/or other paid time off as provided by applicable law.
