Job description
We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee and coordinate various engineering, research and development, financial systems, and product roll-out projects. The role involves planning, directing, and coordinating activities to achieve project goals efficiently., * Coordinate projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and directing the integration of technical activities.
- Present and explain proposals, reports, and findings to clients.
- Recruit employees, assign, direct, and evaluate their work, and oversee the development and maintenance of staff competence.
- Analyze technology, resource needs, and market demand to plan and assess the feasibility of projects.
- Confer with management, production, and marketing staff to discuss project specifications and procedures.
- Review and recommend or approve contracts and cost estimates.
Requirements
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and manage one's time effectively.
- Knowledge of production processes, quality control, costs, and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Knowledge of business and management principles involved in strategic planning, resource allocation, and production methods.
- Proficiency in computer software such as MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Project, and Visio.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration or a related field.
- PMI or PMP certification preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in data center construction management.
- 10 years of total construction management experience.
- 5 years of experience in construction planning and progress evaluation.
Benefits & conditions
This position is 100% remote with extensive travel required to five different project sites across the US, accounting for 75% or more travel time. The role involves a 40-hour workweek, with an additional 10 hours as needed. Required equipment includes personal protective equipment (PPE) such as steel-toed boots, hard hat, vest, gloves, safety glasses, and hearing protection, along with a monitor, laptop, and headset. Adobe software is required on the laptop. Job Type & Location

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $77.00/hr.
