Who you report to: General Manager - Spidercam, * Collaborate with the Product Manager and Product Owner to understand customer requirements and ensure we deliver the right solutions.

  • Actively participate in the full software development lifecycle.
  • Work with the Principal Technical Lead to develop products with clean architectural design.
  • Develop our next-generation control and management software.
  • Contribute to efficiently driving unit testing efforts toward full code coverage.
  • Ensure the product meets corporate and international security standards, where needed.
  • Engage in code reviews (self and colleagues') to ensure quality and adherence to best practices.
  • Work on integrating hardware and software to create cohesive and reliable solutions.
  • Learn how operators use our products to inform product decisions.
  • Collaborate with the team in an Agile environment to develop high-quality solutions.
  • Work with other teams to leverage our diverse platforms and experiences in creating unique solutions.
  • Guide and advise other colleagues on their respective projects.
  • Perform other duties as required.

Requirements

  • 6+ years of experience in software engineering or a related field.
  • Have software development experience with C#.
  • Have software development experience in RUST.
  • Possess a solid understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles and practices.
  • Be eager to implement development processes and adopt best practices, particularly in improving quality and performance.
  • Be prepared to tackle challenging tasks and explore and integrate various tools and technologies into applications.
  • Be self-starter, quick learner and can work with minimum supervision
  • Have excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.
  • Have proven ability to mentor and guide junior team members
  • Have good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Fluency in English is expected.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum software development team.
  • Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs) (asset).
  • Familiarity with Jira, Git (assets).
  • Knowledge of cable camera systems is considered a strong asset.
