We are currently looking for a proactive and skilled Senior Engineer - Java / Spring Boot to join our Global Operations & Services (GOS) team in an agile, DevOps-centred environment., * Bachelor's or Master's in Computer Science or related fields, or relevant work experience

• Knowledge and practical experience with DevOps principles, including CI/CD and Kubernetes
• Proven high experience in backend software engineering, particularly with Java and Java Frameworks like Spring Boot
• Strong knowledge of RESTful APIs and service-oriented architecture
• Experience with streaming technologies such as Kafka and Avro
• Familiarity with automated testing
• Pragmatic, proactive, and open-minded, possessing an entrepreneurial approach
• Enthusiastic about continuous learning and contributing to Julius Baer's technological evolution
• Effective communicator with very good English proficiency
