This role is essential for maintaining operational excellence in production equipment, ensuring the reliability and functionality of our smart battery sensors and battery management systems, and enhancing the performance and efficiency of our manufacturing processes in our external factories.,

  • EOL Test Cases Implementation: Validate functionality and performance at hardware, software, and system levels. Translate EOL / FKT test requirements into effective test strategies and FKT software framework components. Use and integrate software solutions to interface with embedded systems. Integrate test cases on testing equipment sourced from our HW suppliers.
  • Test Automation: Develop automated test scripts and tools to streamline production testing processes. Enhance and optimize automated test cases for improved coverage, cycle time and reliability.
  • Equipment Stewardship: Ensure seamless operations through calibrations and troubleshooting. Participate in "Make vs. Buy" evaluations.
  • Technical Troubleshooting and Maintenance: Swiftly resolve technical issues at our production locations and in-house equipment. Develop and implement predictive and corrective maintenance strategies for production equipment. Manage change processes to minimize disruptions and ensure smooth transitions during commissioning ramp-up and post-SOP phases.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Engage with hardware designers, software developers, suppliers, and external factories. Conduct training sessions for our network of suppliers and external factories. Requirements

  • A degree in electrical/automotive engineering, software engineering, electronics, or a related technical field
  • Proven experience in developing and maintaining test systems and production equipment
  • Strong understanding of embedded systems architecture and design principles
  • Practical knowledge of automotive communication buses (Ethernet, CAN, LIN, SPI) and protocols/standards (e.g., J19x9, UDS)
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as C, C++, Python, or similar
  • Experience with test automation frameworks and tools
  • Familiar with a factory/manufacturing setting and its day-to-day needs
  • Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills
  • Highly motivated, hands-on approach, sense of ownership and passion for innovation
