Senior User Interface Engineer

I'm working with a fast-growing, remote-first digital consultancy to hire a Senior UI Engineer You'll design and build high-quality, performant, and accessible web interfaces across client projects and internal products. Working closely with UX designers, visual designers, and back-end engineers, you'll ensure polished, cohesive user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, shaping front-end architecture, and taking ownership of complex UI challenges. Key ResponsibilitiesBuild responsive, mobile-first interfaces using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptDevelop and maintain production-grade React and Next.js applications, including SSR and reusable component librariesEnsure consistent design implementation and brand adherenceOptimise performance, scalability, and accessibility of web pagesWrite clean, testable code and maintain front-end test suites (Jest)Translate UX designs into production-ready UI using tools such as Figma or Adobe XDCollaborate with back-end teams to integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL)Communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
