Job description

I'm working with a fast-growing, remote-first digital consultancy to hire a Senior UI Engineer You'll design and build high-quality, performant, and accessible web interfaces across client projects and internal products. Working closely with UX designers, visual designers, and back-end engineers, you'll ensure polished, cohesive user experiences. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who enjoys mentoring others, shaping front-end architecture, and taking ownership of complex UI challenges. I've placed 10 engineers into this company already, all with excellent feedback on culture, team collaboration, and career development.

Key ResponsibilitiesBuild responsive, mobile-first interfaces using HTML, CSS, SASS, JavaScript (ES6+) and TypeScriptDevelop and maintain production-grade React and Next.js applications, including SSR and reusable component librariesEnsure consistent design implementation and brand adherenceOptimise performance, scalability, and accessibility of web pagesWrite clean, testable code and maintain front-end test suites (Jest)Translate UX designs into production-ready UI using tools such as Figma or Adobe XDCollaborate with back-end teams to integrate APIs (REST/GraphQL)Communicate technical decisions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders

Requirements
