Job description
We're looking for a Specialist End User Analyst to work closely with ICT colleagues and services across the council, providing secure, modern and reliable end user technology services that support Warwickshire County Council's objectives., * Take ownership of specialist end user platforms, including Microsoft SCCM and Endpoint Manager (Intune)
- Configure, maintain and continually improve device management, application deployment and security configuration
- Independently interpret and analyse complex ICT issues, recommending and delivering effective technical solutions
- Support the deployment and lifecycle management of Windows and mobile devices, including build updates and testing
- Manage application packaging, deployment monitoring and white glove processes
- Provide expert advice and guidance to colleagues and stakeholders on end user technologies
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of ICT policies, procedures and technical documentation
- Work collaboratively with ICT teams and business stakeholders to meet service delivery outcomes
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve services through new or emerging technologies
- Contribute to knowledge sharing, mentoring and continuous service improvement, The Fluency Duty is outlined in the Code of Practice on the English language requirements for public sector workers. The Fluency Duty for this role is Required. You must be able to speak and provide advice in accurate spoken English to the public.

Requirements
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys problem solving, taking ownership of technical platforms, and working collaboratively to deliver high-quality end user solutions within defined standards and governance., * Either hold a full relevant professional qualification or have significant experience in an ICT environment at a senior level.
- The ability to demonstrate a high degree of complex problem-solving skills
- The ability to communicate complicated and contentious information with varied audiences in person and/or writing
- The ability to work within broad practice or guidelines using managerial discretion over a broad area of activity
- The ability to work under a high degree of pressure, including meeting unpredictable deadlines and dealing with conflicting demands
- Experience of supervising and managing a small team
- Experience of monitoring and managing project budgets
- Experience of contributing to the development of ICT Policies and Procedures
- Excellent IT skills
- The ability to pull together plans/develop solutions through the introduction of new/original thinking
- The ability to persuade others to adopt a course of action which is not necessarily their preferred approach
- Understanding of equality, diversity and inclusion principles
- The right to work in the UK
