Job description

Pantheon Data has a need for a Senior System Integrator to support the Defense Health Agency (DHA) in the integration of enterprise health IT systems and applications. This individual will be responsible for the seamless onboarding, configuration, and integration of diverse software and hardware assets within DHA's health IT ecosystem. The role includes installation, configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and ongoing sustainment to ensure the operational readiness and effectiveness of mission-critical systems supporting the Military Health System (MHS)., * Analyze and interpret DHA technical specifications, functional requirements, and system documentation to inform integration activities.

  • Integrate diverse hardware and software components from multiple vendors into DHA's enterprise architecture.
  • Configure and adapt systems to align with DHA operational and clinical requirements.
  • Conduct comprehensive testing, validation, and quality assurance procedures to ensure integrated systems function as intended.
  • Develop detailed system integration guides, runbooks, and maintenance documentation for future sustainment.
  • Monitor system performance, proactively identify issues, and troubleshoot to minimize downtime.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance, software patching, and firmware upgrades to ensure system reliability and compliance.
  • Collaborate with engineering teams, cybersecurity staff, and stakeholders to resolve complex integration challenges.
  • Support project planning, providing technical expertise during design reviews and decision-making processes.
  • Provide training and knowledge transfer to DHA personnel on integrated systems and tools.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering,Computer Science,or a related field (preferred).
  • Minimum of 5 - 7 years of experience in system integration,preferably in a military or defense environment.
  • Strong understanding of communication protocols:TCP/IP,Ethernet,WiFi,etc.
  • Expertise in networking concepts:IP addressing,subnetting,routing,VPNs,firewalls.
  • Proficiency in scripting languages:Python,Bash,PowerShell,for automation and customization.
  • Knowledge of cloud platforms:AWS,Azure,GCP,for cloud-based integrations.
  • Experience with integration tools:ESBs,APIs,middleware,for interconnecting systems.
  • Understanding of various operating systems:Windows,Linux,macOS,depending on project needs.
  • Familiarity with virtualization technologies:VMware,Hyper-V,Docker,for efficient resource utilization.
  • Strong understanding of computer hardware,software,and networking principles.
  • Effective communication and collaboration skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Ability to work effectively remotely in cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to meet deadlines and produce quality work.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Suite software including Outlook, Word, Excel, SharePoint, and PowerPoint.

Clearance Requirements

U.S. Citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Secret clearance.

Benefits & conditions

The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $130,000. This is not, however, a guarantee of compensation or salary. Rather, salary will be set based on experience, geographic location and possibly contractual requirements and could fall outside of this range., We are always looking for good people!
