Job description
The End User Computing (EUC) Level 1 technician is responsible for providing first-level technical support to end users for hardware, software, and IT-related issues. The role includes troubleshooting desktops, laptops, printers, and basic network connectivity issues while ensuring smooth IT operations for users., * Provide Level 1 technical support for end users via phone, email, or ticketing systems.
- Troubleshoot desktop, laptop, printer, and peripheral issues.
- Install, configure, and maintain Windows operating systems and basic applications.
- Assist users with password resets, account unlocks, and access issues.
- Support Microsoft Office / O365 applications and email troubleshooting.
- Diagnose and resolve basic network connectivity issues (LAN/Wi-Fi).
- Install and configure software applications and security updates.
- Maintain and update IT asset inventory.
- Escalate complex technical issues to Level 2 or specialized IT teams.
- Provide on-site or remote support to ensure minimal downtime for users.
Requirements
- Basic knowledge of Windows OS (Windows 10/11)
- Understanding of Active Directory (basic user management)
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office / Office 365
- Basic network troubleshooting knowledge
- Experience with ticketing tools (ServiceNow, Jira, etc.) is a plus
- Good communication and problem-solving skills, * Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
