Job description
The Software Development Engineer 3 will support the development of a Linux-based validation operating system used to validate next-generation Cobalt SoC compute products for Azure platforms. This role focuses on building and integrating Azure-based tools and utilities, supporting validation initiatives across teams, and managing security-related Azure integrations. The engineer will also work closely with Azure DevOps work items and contribute to system-level troubleshooting and validation efforts., Develop and support a Linux-based validation OS for compute platforms
Build and integrate Azure-based tools, services, and utilities
Support Azure validation initiatives across multiple engineering teams
Manage and support security-related integrations within Azure environments
Work with Azure DevOps (ADO) work items including creation, triage, querying, and reporting
Collaborate with cross-functional teams on system and database development
Troubleshoot and resolve system, cloud, and infrastructure issues
Requirements
Completed Azure Security Certification (mandatory at submission)
Strong experience creating and connecting Azure resources (5+ years)
Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps (ADO) work item management (3+ years)
Python development experience
Experience working in Linux-based environments
Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and system-level troubleshooting
Preferred Skills
Experience with SoC or hardware validation environments
Exposure to Azure validation pipelines or infrastructure testing
Knowledge of SQL or database systems
Experience working across large-scale Azure environments
A reasonable, good faith estimate of the hourly rate for this position is $60 - $64/hr on W2.
