Job description
Analytica is seeking a Systems Architect - Infrastructure to lead the design, implementation, and optimization of secure, scalable IT infrastructure supporting advanced analytics and machine learning solutions. This role is ideal for a senior technical leader who can balance strategic infrastructure architecture with hands-on execution.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in ensuring infrastructure reliability, performance, and security, while enabling modern data and AI/ML workloads. Working closely with cross-functional technical leads, you will align infrastructure capabilities with program and mission requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and architecture of scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure environments
- Oversee infrastructure planning, deployment, and ongoing maintenance across cloud and/or hybrid environments
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of systems supporting data, analytics, and machine learning workloads
- Collaborate with data, application, and security teams to align infrastructure solutions with program requirements
- Define and implement infrastructure standards, best practices, and architectural patterns
- Monitor and optimize system performance, capacity, and cost efficiency
- Ensure compliance with security, governance, and regulatory requirements
- Support DevSecOps practices, including automation, CI/CD pipelines, and infrastructure as code (IaC)
- Troubleshoot complex infrastructure issues and provide root cause analysis
- Mentor engineering teams and provide technical guidance on infrastructure-related decisions, To enhance efficiency, fairness, and accuracy, Analytica may use AI-assisted tools to support certain aspects of our hiring process.
- Application Review: AI tools may help identify skills and experiences relevant to the role.
- Interview Support: AI-powered notetaking tools may be used during interviews to document discussions and summarize key points.
These tools are used to assist our team. All hiring decisions are made by Analytica recruiters and hiring managers.
Requirements
- Experience in a senior infrastructure engineering or architecture role (Level III or equivalent)
- Strong expertise in cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or similar) and/or hybrid infrastructure environments
- Experience designing and supporting infrastructure for data platforms, analytics, or machine learning workloads
- Proficiency with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar)
- Strong understanding of networking, security, compute, and storage architectures
- Experience with system monitoring, logging, and performance tuning
- Familiarity with DevSecOps practices and CI/CD pipelines
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, * Experience supporting big data platforms (e.g., Databricks, Hadoop, Spark)
- Familiarity with containerization and orchestration technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes)
- Experience with security frameworks and compliance standards in regulated environments
- Certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or similar
- Experience in federal or mission-driven environments
