Advanced Data Processing & Engineering
- Architect, develop, and optimize data processing workflows using BCC Ignite and related technologies.
- Write and maintain complex transformation logic and scripts to support data ingestion, normalization, segmentation, and output generation.
- Design scalable solutions for large-volume datasets, ensuring performance and reliability.
- Implement data validation, auditing, and error-handling frameworks to ensure integrity across all processing stages.
- Work with structured and semi-structured data formats (CSV, fixed-width, XML, JSON).
Document Composition Development
- Develop and maintain advanced Quadient Inspire Designer Workflows.
- Build complex business rules, conditional logic, and variable data personalization.
- Optimize composition workflows for performance, reusability, and maintainability.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data mapping, formatting, rendering, and output generation (print and digital).
Campaign Execution & Postal Optimization
- Lead execution of direct mail campaigns, ensuring accurate and timely processing and delivery.
- Utilize BCC Ignite for postal presort, address standardization (CASS), NCOA processing, and commingling strategies.
- Identify and implement opportunities for postage savings and operational efficiencies.
- Production Support, QA & Performance Tuning
- Own end-to-end production support, including job monitoring, failure resolution, and performance tuning.
- Perform detailed QA validation including record reconciliation, data integrity checks, and output verification.
- Analyze and optimize job performance, including processing times, memory utilization, and throughput.
- Support deployment processes across development, QA, and production environments.
Technical Leadership & Collaboration
- Translate complex business requirements into technical designs and scalable solutions.
- Act as a technical SME, providing guidance on best practices in data processing and composition development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including IT, Operations, Account Management, and Client Services.
- Mentor junior team members and contribute to team skill development.
Documentation & Continuous Improvement
- Create and maintain detailed technical documentation, including data mappings, workflow diagrams, and processing logic.
- Drive automation and process improvement initiatives to reduce manual effort and increase reliability.
- Evaluate and recommend new tools, techniques, and standards to enhance capabilities.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in data processing, programming, and/or document composition within the direct mail or CCM industry.
- Advanced, hands-on expertise with Quadient Inspire Designer.
- Strong working knowledge of BCC Ignite, including data processing and postal optimization workflows.
- Proficiency in scripting or programming languages within the Quadient and Ignite applications used for data manipulation and automation.
- Strong experience with data extraction, transformation, and performance tuning.
- Deep understanding of data structures, transformation logic, and file processing techniques.
- Knowledge of USPS regulations, including CASS, NCOA, presort, and mail optimization strategies.
- Proven ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues in high-volume production environments.
- Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy, scalability, and performance.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in high-volume print/mail service bureaus or direct marketing organizations.
- Familiarity with job scheduling and high-volume project-based workflows.
- Experience working with regulated data environments (HIPAA, financial, or insurance).

The role requires a high level of ownership, accountability, and attention to detail to ensure production deliverables are completed accurately and on schedule.
