Job description
- Design, maintain, and administer core information and data systems while ensuring reliability, security, accessibility, and operational efficiency.
- Monitor and validate data accuracy across systems and platforms to maintain consistency, integrity, and compliance with organizational standards.
- Continuously evaluate and improve the organization's systems ecosystem to reduce duplication, improve scalability, and strengthen data flow between platforms.
Systems Integration, Automation & Workflow Optimization
- Develop and maintain system integrations, workflow automations, and API connections to streamline operations and improve access to information.
- Identify opportunities to reduce manual or repetitive work through scalable system design and automation.
- Analyze operational needs and recommend technology solutions that improve organizational effectiveness and staff productivity.
- Build and maintain automation workflows and system enhancements that support long-term operational growth.
Reporting, Dashboards & Analytics
- Build and maintain actionable dashboards, KPI reporting tools, and data visualizations that support operational and strategic decision-making.
- Support internal and external reporting needs, including grant and funder reporting, by ensuring information is accurate, timely, and easily retrievable.
- Utilize reporting and visualization tools to analyze trends and provide meaningful insights to leadership teams.
Technology Innovation & AI Solutions
- Research, evaluate, and implement emerging technologies and AI-enabled tools that improve reporting, workflow automation, staff productivity, and operational efficiency.
- Ensure technology solutions align with organizational goals, scalability needs, and data governance standards.
- Support innovation initiatives that improve how information is captured, accessed, shared, and utilized across the organization.
User Support, Training & Collaboration
- Provide technical guidance, training, and documentation to staff regarding systems, reporting tools, workflows, and technology processes.
- Develop user-friendly tools and workflows that improve adoption and minimize ongoing support needs.
- Communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical staff while collaborating across departments to identify inefficiencies and opportunities for improvement.
- Maintain positive working relationships while delivering responsive, customer-focused technical support.
Requirements
Do you have experience in Workflow management (operations management method)?, Do you have a Bachelor's degree?, * Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.
- Minimum two years of experience in information systems or a related field.
- Strong understanding of databases, reporting tools, systems architecture, and data management principles.
- Experience with system integrations, automation workflows, APIs, and process improvement initiatives.
- Proficiency with SQL, reporting tools, and data visualization platforms.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Fabric and Power BI.
- Experience building integrations between systems using APIs or advanced workflow tools.
- Experience evaluating or leveraging AI tools to improve reporting, workflows, and productivity.
- Experience working in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
