Systems Resource Management, Inc. (SRM) is currently seeking a LAN Administrator/Analyst (IA Compliance Specialist) to support the Submarine On Board Training (SOBT) program at the Submarine Learning Center (SLC) in Groton, CT. The selected candidate will be the expert on network configuration and management and will be responsible for management, installation, configuration and maintenance of three (3) servers in a Windows environment., * Perform LAN administration/analysis of SOBT internal LANs
- Perform day-to-day administration and maintenance tasks for two (2) internal SOBT development/testing LANs and associated software
- Install/upgrade server hardware, operating systems, and software to maintain SOBT development /testing LANs at a level comparable to what exists in the fleet
- Implement, assess, and continuously monitor security controls as required by the cybersecurity Risk Management Framework (RMF) for DoD Systems
- Evaluate new developments in computer hardware, software, and procedures, and provide recommendations to SLC/SOBT
Requirements
Do you have experience in Windows?, Do you have a Associate's degree?, * Required:
- Associate's degree in Computer Science or related field (minimum) or 3 years at sea experience in the Navy ITN rating field
- DoD 8570.01 approved baseline certification: IAT Level 1
- Ability to possess a DoD Secret clearance
- Preferred:
- Experience with DoD STIG requirements.
- Experience with ACAS, NIST, system audits, and vulnerability scanning.
- Certified CompTIA A+
- Certified CompTIA Network+
- Certified CompTIA Security+
- Certified Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA)
- Active DoD Secret clearance.

- Strong organizational and multi-tasking skills
- Ability to work effectively, manage expectations, and interact with internal customers at all levels within the organization
