Job description
Assume responsibility for defining and prioritizing user stories, managing the product backlog, and collaborating with stakeholders to ensure alignment with mission objectives and operational requirements. Demonstrate in-depth understanding of Agile processes, manage and execute backlog refining sessions for sprint teams, and provide recommendations based on metrics evaluated. Work with the client for backlog grooming including prioritization. Ensure prioritization of features and capabilities with the customer to ensure higher priority items are identified and implemented first. Serve the client and Scrum teams by guiding the team on how to use the agile processes. Develop and maintain relationships with internal and external customers. Provide leadership to ensure the scrum team attains the most value from a self-organized team. Take responsibility for impediments including resolving impediments, providing guidance for removing impediments, and escalating impediments to ensure quick resolution. Facilitate technical discussions, decision making, impediment resolution, and conflict resolution. Ensure transparency from client to Scrum team by facilitating internal and external communication. Perform continual assessment of the maturity of the Scrum team and providing coaching and insight in support of greater maturity. Commit to continuous process improvement including active facilitation of reviews and retrospectives and incorporation of lessons learned for future sprints.
Requirements
8+ years of experience in cyberspace operations or software development 2+ years of experience as a Product Owner Experience in military cyber operations Experience with using Atlassian tools, such as Jira and Confluence, and advanced road maps for product roadmaps Knowledge of tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs), tools, and technologies, and cyber regulations, standards, and frameworks, such as NIST, RMF, and DoD cyber security requirements Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) processes and methodologies, including Agile, Scrum, and DevOps Ability to interact effectively with stakeholders, including military personnel, government agencies, and contractors, prioritize and manage a product backlog, make data-driven decisions, and drive product delivery to meet mission objectives TS/SCI clearance with a polygraph Bachelor's degree SAFe Product Owner/Product Manager (PO/PM) or SAFe Scrum Master (SSM) Certification Nice If You Have: Possession of excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
