Job description
Are you the kind of person who enjoys solving problems, helping others, and figuring out "why it's not working"? We're looking for a dependable, people-focused Help Desk I Specialist to join our IT team and provide first-level technical support to employees and users across the organization.

What You'll Do
- Provide first-level technical support by phone, email, chat, and ticketing systems
- Troubleshoot common hardware, software, password, printer, and connectivity issues
- Assist users with Microsoft Office, email, VPN access, and system navigation
- Set up and configure computers, monitors, peripherals, and user accounts
- Escalate advanced technical issues to higher-level IT staff when needed
- Document issues, resolutions, and support activity accurately in the ticketing system
- Deliver friendly, professional customer service with patience and urgency
- Help maintain technology inventory and equipment organization
- Support both onsite and remote employees as needed
Requirements
Do you have experience in VPN?, Do you have a High school diploma or GED?, * Strong communication and customer service skills
- Basic understanding of computer systems, networking, and troubleshooting
- Ability to stay organized and manage multiple requests at once
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn and grow
- Ability to explain technical information in simple, easy-to-understand terms
- Reliable attendance and strong problem-solving skills
- Previous help desk, technical support, customer service, or IT experience is a plus
- Certifications such as A+, Google IT Support, or similar are helpful but not required, * High school diploma or equivalent required
- Associate degree in Information Technology or related field preferred
