Job description

Apptricity is seeking an experienced IT Support Specialist to assist our on-site and remote employees with computer hardware and software issues. This position is on-site. The support specialist will assist with hardware installations, software upgrades, systems integrations, and basic IT related issues.

To ensure success as an IT Support Specialist, you should have knowledge of home and office systems, good problem-solving skills, and high-level interpersonal skills. A top-class IT Support Specialist provides fast and effective support for clients experiencing hardware and software issues.

Apptricity produces market-leading supply chain and spend management software solutions utilizing state of the art technology., * Serve as the first point of contact for employee support requests.

  • Perform on-site and remote troubleshooting.
  • Helpdesk Level I/II technical support and troubleshooting.
  • Installing and maintaining hardware and computer peripherals.
  • Installing and upgrading operating systems and computer software.
  • Troubleshooting networking and connection issues.
  • Advising on software or hardware upgrades.
  • Provide basic training in computer operation and management.
  • Completing job reports and ordering supplies.
  • Provides support for mobile devices including configuration and email sync.
  • Handles 15-20 issues per day efficiently and appropriately.
  • Should be adept at Microsoft 365.
  • Utilizes Active Directory to reset passwords and create users.
  • Provides technical support for VPN issues.
  • Provide VoIP phones provisioning and troubleshooting.
  • Document system events to ensure continuous functioning.
  • Testing and evaluating new technologies.
  • Other duties as required.

Requirements

Do you have experience in VoIP?, * Technical degree in related field or equivalent work experience required.

  • 2-3 years of related technical experience required, including 1 year of experience in a Corporate IT Service Desk or Helpdesk environment required.
  • Intermediate network experience and ITIL Foundation Certification preferred.
