Senior Developer

The Senior Software Developer is a hands-on, client-facing technical contributor responsible for designing, building, deploying, and maintaining high-quality software solutions that support application modernization and digital transformation initiatives across mobile, web, and commerce workstreams., In this engagement, Senior Developers are expected to operate with a high degree of autonomy, contribute to architectural and technical decisions, mentor less- Senior engineers, and actively improve delivery, reliability, and operational excellence. Work will include enhancing applications built primarily with .NET Core, with additional components in Node.js and TypeScript, and supporting API, microservices, and integration delivery (including GraphQL). The team operates across Azure, AWS, and hybrid/on-premises environments with Kubernetes, aligning to the client's engineering standards and architectural direction., * Design, implement, test, and maintain production-grade software that modernizes and enhances existing applications across mobile, web, and commerce domains.

• Contribute across the full software development lifecycle, including analysis, design, estimation, development, testing, deployment, and production support, with a focus on modernization outcomes.
• Participate in code reviews, architecture discussions, and technical decision-making, providing clear rationale and trade-off analysis while aligning to the client's engineering standards and architectural direction.
• Build and maintain reliable, secure, and performant services across Azure, AWS, and hybrid/on-premises environments, including containerized deployments (Docker/Kubernetes) where applicable.
• Collaborate closely with product owners, architects, DevOps, and other engineers to deliver APIs, microservices, and integrations that support end-to-end experiences.
• Mentor junior and mid level developers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of engineering practices, including automation, CI/CD, testing, and operational maturity.

Modern application engineering depth (strong .NET Core preferred), demonstrated through clean design, testability, and sound trade-offs for APIs, microservices, performance, scalability, and maintainability; familiarity with Node.js/TypeScript and GraphQL is a plus.

Cloud + hybrid delivery and operability (DevOps mindset), including CI/CD, IaC, automated testing/deployments, and observability; practical experience delivering and operating services on Azure and/or AWS, and in containerized environments with Kubernetes.

Senior -level ownership in a client engagement: autonomy, clear communication with technical and non-technical stakeholders, strong code-review/mentorship, and a track record of improving engineering practices while aligning to established engineering standards and architectural direction., * Very strong expertise in at least one primary programming language, such as:

C#/.NET (.NET Core), TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js), or equivalent

• Demonstrated ability to design clean, maintainable, well tested codebases, including strong familiarity with automated testing (unit/integration) and ownership of component level test strategy for the systems they build and support.
• Strong understanding of software engineering fundamentals, including:

Data structures and algorithms

API design, microservices patterns, and integration approaches

Modular and layered architectures

Performance and scalability considerations

Application Breadth

• Moderate preference for full stack capability, with experience across:

Backend services (REST/GraphQL APIs, services, integrations, data access with Redis and SQL/MSSQL)

Front end frameworks (e.g., React, Angular, or similar)

• Alternatively, strong depth in either backend or frontend, combined with solid working knowledge of the adjacent layer to support end-to-end delivery across mobile, web, and commerce experiences.

DevOps & Delivery Practices

• Strong experience with modern DevOps practices, including:

CI/CD pipelines

Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Automated testing and deployment

Observability, logging, and monitoring

• Experience supporting services in hybrid/on-premises environments (in addition to cloud), including practical troubleshooting of networking, connectivity, and platform constraints.
• Familiarity with tools and platforms such as:

Git, CI/CD platforms (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, etc.)

Containers and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes)

• A mindset focused on operability, reliability, and automation, not just code delivery.

Cloud Platform Experience

• Strong experience in at least one major cloud platform:

AWS, Azure, or GCP

• Experience designing, deploying, and operating applications in cloud and hybrid environments, including:

Networking, security, and identity concepts

Managed services (compute, storage, databases)

Cost awareness and basic optimization considerations

• Familiarity with additional clouds is a plus, but depth in one platform is preferred over shallow exposure to many

AI Skills & Tool Usage

• Demonstrated experience using AI assisted development tools to improve productivity, quality, and learning (e.g., code generation, refactoring, testing, documentation).
• Basic familiarity with AI enabled application patterns, such as:

Integrating hosted AI services or APIs

Using AI for data processing, search, or automation use cases

• Ability to evaluate AI tools pragmatically, understanding benefits, limitations, and responsible use within enterprise and client contexts.
• Willingness to continuously upskill as AI tooling and platforms evolve

Professional Expectations

• Owns complex and/or ambiguous features end to end, drives technical decisions within scope, and mentors others through that ambiguity.
• Communicates clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including client partners, and documents decisions and outcomes as needed.
• Comfortable working across multiple workstreams (mobile, web, commerce) and projects/domains as engagement demand shifts.
• Balances delivery speed with code quality, stability, and long term maintainability.
• Contributes positively to team culture and knowledge sharing., * Typically 7+ years of professional software development experience (or equivalent demonstrated capability).
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred, or equivalent practical experience.
• Relevant technical certifications (cloud, DevOps, etc.) are a plus but not required.

This is a Permanent position based out of Atlanta, GA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $91700.00 - $137500.00/yr.
